About TestWatch

TestWatch writes Playwright tests from a plain-English description, runs them on a schedule or from CI, and tells you why a run failed.

Who makes it

TestWatch is made by Vasyl Harastei, a sole trader registered in the Czech Republic (EU). The full company details are on the imprint.

Why I built it

Many small software teams have no QA person. End-to-end tests become nobody’s job, so a broken signup or checkout is often reported by a customer first. I wanted a tool that writes those tests from a plain description and keeps running them, without anyone having to own a test suite.

Many AI testing tools call a model on every run, so every run costs money and gets metered. TestWatch uses AI to write a test and to look at a failure. A passing run is plain Playwright and makes no AI calls. That is why you pay for the tests you create, and runs are included.

I would rather show what works and what doesn’t yet. Tests are Playwright code you can read and export, fixes wait for your approval, and the security page lists what isn’t done. If something is wrong or missing, email me.

How TestWatch is measured

TestWatch is run against fixture apps built for testing it, and every outcome is counted. The latest eval: 87 trials across 29 scenarios on two apps, October 2026. The shares are rounded. See how we measure, with every case and trial.

  • Good outcomes

A correct test, or a correct diagnosis: a bug flagged, or a clear reason the flow can’t be tested as asked.

    94%
  • False green

The test passed when it should have failed. This is why you review each test and every fix.

    1%
  • Brittle

The test caught the bugs but broke on a harmless change, or passed only sometimes.

    0%
  • Generation failed

No usable test came out of the generation.

    5%
  • False blocker

Generation stopped on a blocker that wasn’t real, or skipped the flow.

Where your data lives

  • Servers

In Vienna, Austria (EU), behind Cloudflare.

  • AI providers

AI requests go through the Vercel AI Gateway to Google LLC (Gemini on Google Cloud Vertex AI) (location: United States / global Google Cloud regions), TypeSafe AI (Jev) (location: not published by the provider), or DigitalOcean, LLC (location: United States). None is pinned to the EU, and each has a zero-data-retention agreement with the gateway. Details are on the security page and the sub-processor list.
