TestWatch vs QA Wolf
Both produce real Playwright tests you can keep. QA Wolf offers a platform billed per test run, with AI included, and managed services where its team builds or maintains your tests. TestWatch is self-serve, priced per test with runs included.

The short version
- Choose QA Wolf if
You want people to own your test suite (its managed service creates, investigates and maintains tests), you test native iOS, Android or Electron apps, or you need SMS codes or Firefox. Its per-run price also costs less than Starter for a small suite that runs rarely, under about 99 runs a month.
- Choose TestWatch if
You want to run often for a fixed monthly price, start without a sales call, and approve each fix yourself. Starter includes 30 tests and 2,500 runs a month.

What it costs at three sizes
List prices, monthly, checked 2026-10-21. QA Wolf’s platform at $1 per web run, for the same runs; TestWatch at the cheapest plan that fits.
| Usage | QA Wolf | TestWatch | Cheaper |
|---|---|---|---|
| 10 tests, once a day (about 300 runs a month) | $300 | Starter, $99 | TestWatch |
| 50 tests, once a day (about 1,500 runs a month) | $1,500 | Team, $299 | TestWatch |
| 30 tests, every hour (about 21,600 runs a month) | $21,600 | Enterprise, from $799 | — |
Runs longer than 5 minutes cost more on QA Wolf (billed in 5-minute blocks). Its own calculator counts 260 business days a year, so a daily suite there shows fewer runs than our 30 days a month. Its managed services are quoted by sales, so they aren’t in the table.
Moving from QA Wolf
Your QA Wolf tests are Playwright already, so you can keep running them anywhere. To have TestWatch run and maintain a flow, describe it in a new test and review the code it writes.
